Do you feel like you suffer from a lot of stress? Then be sure to read on. This blog touches on a number of issues that were covered in the first blog. It is recommended that you read the previous blog first so that you have a good understanding of all the terms.

Types of stress

First, it is important to explain that we have several types of stress. We have positive stress. This is healthy stress that everyone needs from time to time in their lives. This type of stress causes you to take action such as preparing to give a presentation, for example. In addition, we have negative stress. This is stress that affects functioning. This form of stress exceeds healthy stress. Now how we arrive at this form of stress, we explain below.

Energy management out of balance

Negative stress results from an imbalance in your energy management. So this means that your load, the thing you do and have to do, is greater than your load capacity. Your load capacity is the amount of work and pressure you can handle mentally and physically. For an average of two weeks you can live with this imbalance. Afterwards, it is important that you schedule sufficient rest and relaxation so that you can regain your physical and mental balance.

However, everyone has experienced this situation. Just think of a busy period at work with some vacation days scheduled afterwards, an exam period and so on. In principle, there is nothing wrong with such periods. It is just important to provide sufficient rest and relaxation afterwards. If you don't do this, negative stress gets the upper hand.

So what should you do?

If you find that you are under a lot of stress, it is very important to provide enough energizers in your schedule that will bring you back to complete rest. By doing so, you give your body room to recover again. By finding your balance again, you will find that your body becomes more stress resistant again like before.
